Most people are perplexed by the number of glasses of water they should drink in a day. Have you heard the magic number 8? Well I am sure most people must have heard the 8 glass of water a day theory. Hydrotherapy is one among the major building blocks of naturopathy’s foundation.
Drink plenty of water. Do drink 4 glasses of luke warm water, as soon as you get up. It’s better to have water with empty stomach. In the beginning, you may not be able to have 4 glasses, so every month, add one glass extra, and finally make it four.
How many glasses of water do you drink in a day? When I ask the question to my patients, I get very small numbers as response. They actually include the number of times they have tea, juices etc in their number of glasses of water list. Our body needs water in the pure form, not along with juices. Again tea and coffee, actually makes us, more dehydrated.
Make sure that you drink minimum 12 to 16 glasses of water. Haven’t you dreamt to have the skin of a baby? The more the water you drink, the more you micturate, that’s true. But you will be blessed with an extra smooth skin, free of sedimented toxins, clear & glowing skin that any amount of costly creams fails to give.
Drinking water helps digestion, elimination of toxins, to maintain body temperature, to maintain the homeostasis of your body activities. Have enough water in-take and you will feel that difference.
