For those who don't understand the term "alternative medicine" in the same way as used here...
It is phrase used for practices that are believed to be positively effective in curing diseases but have many contradictions. Some examples include naturopathy, chiropractic, herbalism, traditional Chinese medicine, Unani, Ayurveda, meditation, yoga, biofeedback, hypnosis, homeopathy, acupuncture, and diet-based therapies.

To me, alternative medicines are long term investments and if done in proper, way will returns more then contemporary medicines, which has numerous side effects.

When you have no option? What do you mean by that?

I go for alternative medicine first. A natural way doesn't give abrupt result. So If I have no option, I go for the synthetic.
