My mother had this diet for almost 2 years. And now she's more of a vegetarian, some cooked and some are not.
There's no scientific studies that proves some health benefits of raw foods diet. But I saw the improvement in my mom's health condition.

Raw foods are easy to digest
Raw foods provide the maximum amount of energy with minimal bodily effort
Raw foods have healing powers that can alleviate many illnesses from low energy, allergies, digestive disorders, weak immune system, high cholesterol, candida, to obesity & weight problems (weight normalization), etc.
Research and real life experiences have also shown that a person can prevent a body's healthy cells from turning into malignant cancerous cells by consuming mostly a raw food diet & whole organic foods
That information is cool. I'm thinking of trying this diet. Will my body be ok? I mean, can I go directly to raw foods diet? Is there any preparations or some sort..?
Bambie, you should not go abruptly from your regular diet to purely raw foods diet. Try to consume more fruits and veges for the first 2 weeks. Afterwhich, you can try raw foods diet.
Raw foods diet is great. But be selective of what you eat. Since, the food is uncooked- make sure that the preparation is right and also be extra careful for some potentially unsafe foods.
