Too Tired?
Your dear ones be it your friend, your family member. Whoever it is always tired and if you honestly want to help them, here are some ways.
First step:
The very first step should be to find out the reason for tiredness. The reasons could range from diabetes to anemia, heart ailments to a mental depression. Please note the symptoms of mental depression in my previous article. There are some simple ways to keep tiredness away from your loved ones life.
Second step:
It’s a painful fact that many who wishes to reduce weight is going for starvation. Even if they take food they won’t be meeting the required target of calories. Males should have 1500 calories and females should have 1200 calories every day. It is not rocket science and so difficult to follow the simple logic that if a person can’t meet with his daily requirement of calories then he tends to be tired.Skipping food is not a solution for reducing weight.
The above points stressed the relevance of not having adequate food in time.
Now let me tell you what happens if you over eat. Assume stomach as a small bag. Let us divide this pack into three portions… [fundus, body and pylorus]. Of this one portion for food, another portion for water and the top most portion for air. It means we should not fill the stomach with food. And there should be space for air and water. If you try to fill entire space with food, the result will be tiredness.
Intake of alcohol is also found to induce tiredness. Alcohol weakens the power of cerebellum to control various motor activities of body.
Intake of coffee soon after dinner and before bed time is considered to induce tiredness and disturbed sleep. Lack of sleep and sleeping more than 8 hours is again a culprit to cause tiredness. Sleep is considered to the resting phase during which body recuperates the lost energy. Lack of physical exercises is another reason to cause lethargy. Excessive work out in an attempt to reduce weight in a short span of time is again rooted in depleting the energy stores of body.
Third Step:
Once you have identified the cause of lethargy, and then suggest him ways to come out of the grip of tiredness. Try to keep dinner very light. They should be allowed to sleep for 6 to 8 hours a day. Try to cultivate a regular timing for getting up and going to bed. Stick on to the time table as far as possible. They should energize your body with salutations to sun through the lovely series of Asanas called as Surya Namaskaras. Surya Namaskaras are to be done every morning. It should be done not less than 12 steps. Encourage those lethargic patients to have a proper balanced diet.
Tell them to approach a diet specialist. The diet specialist can help them to know vitamin, mineral deficiencies in their diet. They can also get their daily calorie calculated. All they have to do is give the diet specialist a list of foods and its quantity they take on daily basis. Carving of food has found to have a link with certain vitamin deficiency.
They should be having food every two to 2 and half hours. This doesn’t mean they should over eat, what I mean is let them divide and eat small meals every two hours.
To keep a person fresh and energetic all day long there could be hardly anything as good as yoga and meditation. Now days yoga is manipulated as a mere exercise regimen. Do learn yoga from a good teacher. She/ he could uplift your spirits and keep you free from tensions and worries. The benefit of yoga and meditation and various pranayamas are not limited there. It makes you young and graceful. It gives a natural glow and there they can walk with confidence of being attractive and beautiful towards success.
Thus, if you can encourage you dear ones to have a proper life style, with regular time for getting up and going to bed, having small meals at regular intervals, doing adequate exercises, beginning the day with Surya Namaskaras and eating right in the right time, avoiding heavy dinner, taking adequate sleep, and doing yoga and meditation to keep stress and tension away, you can transform your dear one to a healthy smart individual.
