You might have noticed that you get some infection be it running nose to bronchitis… or asthma to urinary infection soon after a prolonged stress. This is very much preventable. What you need to do is you should have enough Vitamin C.

The normal daily requirement is 30 to 55mgs of Ascorbic Acid/ Vitamin C per day. But at times of stress you got to have an increased dose.
A few years back one study was conducted on stressed people. They were given 1000mgs of Vitamin C daily. The result was that their stress has drastically reduced. But such high dose of Vitamin C might give a mild increase in blood pressure.
So if you are having blood pressure you don’t have to go for such huge dose of vitamin C. but just make sure you are having at least the required daily dose of Vitamin C.
