Mental dysfunction treatment

This treatment article is meant for mental dysfunction patients in general. With earlier diagnosis depression is very much fully cured. Patients should be taken to physician. Mild cases of disorders could be corrected through Psychotherapy. Psychotherapy aims at equipping the patients with ways to deal with the daily activities. Severe cases have to take antidepressant medicines. These are helpful to minimize the symptoms and signs. But my personal opinion is that even if the disorders are on the chronic stage psychotherapy and antidepressant medicines should be given equal importance.

  • Yoga, meditation under an expert supervision is highly important. Loosening exercises not only loosen your joints, but also loosen the tangled mental thoughts. ‘Naadi sudhi’ pranayama, cooling pranayamas would be given after analyzing the body type, severity of the disorder and other associated symptoms that the patient is suffering from. This is a great way to help people with mental dysfunction.
  • Meditation should be followed for a calm body and calm mind, more over a happy mind and soul.
  • Good diet has exceptional significance. Mental dysfunction patients need to follow a very good healthy diet plan in order to become stable and achieve good health.
  • Electro convulsive therapy [ECT] is found effective in dealing with certain types of the disorder in most mental dysfunction patients.
  • Music Therapy. It has been observed that music therapy works well in some cases of mental dysfunction.
